May I improve with Notion!
Recently, I have started to realize that if I focus on my personal growth, I can see my progress much faster than before. Two years ago, I only dreamed of being able to enter Universitas Indonesia, which was not a very realistic expectation. At my school, there was only one alumnus who had ever entered Universitas Indonesia, and he did not even finish it because he was more attracted to the promise of graduating and becoming a civil servant from STAN. Furthermore, the alumnus entered the Philosophy department, while I hoped to enter the Economics department. Of course, the level of tightness and ability required was also higher.
Who would have thought that what once was only a dream has now become a reality for me, as I am now a student of the University of Indonesia. I am aware of the effort I have put in to get here, but I am still grateful for the luck I have had that others can only dream of. This achievement should be appreciated and maximized to the fullest. Even though I am now a student of the University of Indonesia, I still cannot take advantage of all the opportunities available to me. I have also found moments of laziness when it comes to taking courses at the campus that I have been dreaming of for so long.
After experiencing various bouts of laziness, I began to identify the causes. After reflecting and contemplating, I realized that I had likely created expectations for the campus that only focused on the positive aspects, without considering that every campus has its advantages and disadvantages. Upon entering the University of Indonesia, I also noticed that what we see on social media or other online media often only displays the good things, thus creating expectations of good things to come.
However, I don't want to waste this opportunity. To make the most of the situation, I've set realistic targets for each week, month and year. I'm also actively engaging in self-care, ensuring that I'm taking the time to rest and refuel. Furthermore, I've created lists of short and long-term goals to stay motivated and keep pushing forward. I'm confident that if I stay consistent, remain focused, and make use of the resources available to me, I'll get closer to success. With a positive mindset and a plan in place, I'm certain that I can make the most of this opportunity.
I was greatly helped in running those tasks using Notion. At first, the platform seemed complicated due to its many features. However, after trying it out for two weeks, I realized that this was only in my imagination. This means that laypeople might experience difficulty, but after some time using it, they will get used to it. I initially felt lazy to use it because it looked complicated, but my opinion slowly changed to appreciation for the completeness of the features available in Notion, especially in helping to increase productivity. This is very important for me as a student who needs to optimize the time I have.
I have been using Google Calendar for a while now to organize my activities, but it only really works for long-term matters. I feel that if I tried to apply it to my daily life, the timeline would be flooded with too much writing. Thankfully, with the help of tools like Notion, I can now better organize my life and also become more content and appreciate every step of the journey that I am on. I'm hoping that with the help of Notion, I can foster a more meaningful and fulfilling life; one that I can look back on with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
